    Hello to all!

I am new to these internet forums and glad to see that this exists for troubleshooting etc. I had cdj1000 mk3 hooked up digitally with other software and worked great. Before that i was pure hardware. i used my friends kontrol s4 and was hooked! (i am new to traktor). after long debate between pioneer and kontrol s4 i stuck with the ddjt1 just because i have had pioneer products for years with no problems.

I am now starting to believe that i made a mistake :( . Even before i updated my traktor i had the same problem.

whenever im playing a song, and use any effects or press any button on controller there is a pop in the sound. effects/filter, even loading a track on a deck, there is always like pop/stop in the sound. i've talked to pioneer and they say it possibly is a software setting problem.

this has happened to me twice at gigs while playing. the first gig with controller my friend luckily brought his $200 dollar vestax spin controller (not sure how its called) and that little thing had NO issues. Sound quality was great! not one problem. 2nd gig i also took my cdjs so i was lucky, except for about 10 minute delay setting up my cdj when i shut down the ddjt1. tough times now for me so i had to sell my mk3 set up and now all im left with is my ddjt1 for now. honestly, i am really let down and upset that this would happen. if anyone can help me i will have huge stress off my shoulders... thanks for your time!

    equipment/settings:

macbook pro 2.26 ghz intel 2 duo 2gb RAM
    pioneer ddj-t1 (traktor 2 edition)
sample rate: 48000 Hz latency 512 (which reads processing:10.7ms,output:2.1ms,overall 12.8ms)
    peavey pr15 powered speakers

i havent messed with those above settings. also, i havent used the 1/4" balanced outputs-can that be problem?(i doubt it)

    Thanks!

    Just try this

    Hi.
Increase the latency and use ddj-t1 always with the power suplier connected. That will do the trick.
    :)

Hey man thanks for the response. I always use it with power supply. How do I increase latency? Higher the number? That speeds the response? Let me know man I'm lost with this
