    hey guys,

my name is matthew. this is my first post on the NI forums. I am running two CDJ-800 MK II (Traktor Timecodes), into Audio DJ 4, into MacBook Pro, utilizing Traktor Scratch Pro 1.1.1, then out into channels 2/3 of Behringer DDM-4000 mixer. Midi In/Out attached to mixer via MIDI/USB into MacBook. Both Audio DJ 4 and Midi/USB are at separate hubs (power lights are on).

my problem exists with MIDI mapping (of course). the problem exists when after downloading preassigned .tsi from thebreakdown.co.uk

the MIDI light in traktor will not illuminate at anytime. the MIDI/In light will illuminate when "bounce to midi click" or "midi clock" is activated on the mixer, but still no recognition from traktor.

my objective is have 2/3 remain for mixing and 1/4 be dedicated to effects control.

    where have i gone wrong?

any help is greatly appreciated - new toys are only at 50% while waiting

Did you activate both Midi-Interfaces? the Audio 4 AND the other one?

you have to activate the MIDI on the mixer... hold down the middle scroll button> midi setup, then activate what parts of the mixer you want to handle MIDI

I recently purchased Behringer ddm4000, audio4dj and timecoded vinyls. I got it working well with my Reloop turntables. I would like to try using the midi feature of the ddm4000. I obviously need somekind of usb/midi-cable/-interface, right?
The cable I've been thinking is YAMAHA UX 16 usb/midi cable.

How should I set this up? I've been going through different forums (+ product manuals) for a day now and I am under the impression that I am able to control my Traktor scratch pro with my ddm4000 by connecting it with my computer with ux16-cable. In Traktor I should import the tsi-file to get my device set up, right? I should turn on the midi-outputs on my mixer (mic and sampler) and choose dump channel 1?
I tick on the midi-device in Traktor but I'm not getting anything in. I'm not able to control anything in Traktor. Should this work? Is some part of the system faulty or am I just plain stupid? Does this make any sense?
