    Hi!

You do not need any drivers for the DDM4000 only for the Midi-Interface. :)

To use the DDM4000 with Traktor connect Midi Out of DDM with Midi In of the interface. Then open Traktor and load the tks for the DDM which is delivered with the Traktor Demo CD of the DDM.

    Heres a question for you....

How much of the control surface is MIDI-ABLE? This would be a hell of a cost effective MIDI control solution if everything was MIDI assignable.;)

Nevermind: found the answer, Behringer have a seperate doc that describes the MIDI capabilites and like the BCD they went halfway. Most of the deck mixer section has MIDI support EXCEPT the Deck gain... Now thats a work of genius WTF? NOT! <pffftt> If the unit supported MIDI on the gains then this would have been an excellent solution for people wanting a MIDI Mixer solution. You are still better off with a Zero4 or a DM800 I think.

what do you mean? im using the chanel sliders as pitch controllers, the eq as eq inside traktor, almost everything is midi assignable, and i use the gain of the mixer to "gain" the sound, so i see no problem...

here is the original tks file of the mixer, and the one i built, because i didnt like the way they make it...

@ phil hey what would be the advantage to have gains tru midi instead using the gains already on mixer?

Hey Phil, the gains are not assignable because they are analog... this is a mixer which needs analog gain for the inputs. ;)

How is the headphone output, is it loud enough for playing out?
I read the dj mag review of this mixer and they said the headphone out was not loud enough for playing in clubs. Not only that, but the faders felt terrible. Can someone confirm this, as I was going to get this mixer, but for the price I may as will get an external mixer and a x-session.

the midi is connected by usb into the laptop (macbook) the cable IN is connected to the OUT in the mixer and the OUT cable is conected to the IN on the mixer.

Traktor does not see the mixer.

I really fancy this unit, looks pretty nice and has quite many features... This MIDI thing sounds awesome, especially if controling 4 decks
