    hieveryone! ;)

This is my first time posting up on a forum, period...and asking questions could not have come at a better time. My set up at the moment, consists of: ddm, macbook, traktor pro, and a4dj, oh, and let's not forget the maudio UNO midisport-- of course its rather unfortunate that i won't be able to use all the features from the mixer, but that's until i get some real decks... and well, in all honesty I think I'm lacking in understanding channels and routing. How do i go about setting this up correctly in traktor?

If someone could give me a short synopsis on how channels run etc..(surely it has to do with audio, but evidently something isn't clicking in my head).. it would be greatly appreciated, as well as to direct me on how to go about configuring the channels thru traktor. Midi mapping is another story..I don't even think traktor recognizes the mixer itself, might this have to also do with channel set up?

I've tried the set up wizard, several times, but surely there's only so much technology can do for us, so i'm looking into my resources for some help so Thanks in advance!:p

whats up vexx at the momment i have the same set up( no mac ) but i the same mixer and i'm using traktor duo and no timecodes just midi ...my set up is this:

you want to set it up like this i have mine set up this way....i assume u have all cables as needed....

ad4j-ch a is hooked up to ch 1 of ddm

ad4j-ch b is hooked to up to ch 4 of ddm

now take your midisport midi out cable and plug into ddm4000 midi out so u can control traktor..

next is go to your ddm4000 and push and hold the control set up knob until you see set-up select on your ddm4000.. that same knob scroll down to midi set up and push then u will see midi set choose which one you want to use to control traktor.... it could be the mic section, sampler section or crossfade section.i'm using sampler section for my hot cues, crossfader setion for cup play- loop in and out and so forth...ch 2& 3 of my ddm4000are used for the fx unit 1& 2

now go to traktor preferences and select controller manager..go to set up wizard and 1rst ? select yes...next thing u want to do is choose manufactor which is behringer ddm4000 next select your control medium-no timecode control then hit next..then it should show u your setup then hit finish..

now go back to controller manager from here is where u can setup your ddm4000 for midi output.....if u need anything hit me upi'll be glad to help u it took me a min to figure it out but it's worth it once u learn it...oh yeah if i missed anything guys feel free....
