Deactivating Animations on Mac

    Do you think that deactivating animations and graphic effects on Mac will help on to get better performance? Or is just a small 'tweak' that does not help that much?

    They shouldn't be running when you are running Traktor, unless you switch out to start finder or something, so not much of an increase.

    i think so:
    those animations are processed by graphics card, but still loads processor
    take a look at "WindowServer" process in the Activity Monitor, load increases when animations are rendered.
