Battery 3 is so powerful, versatile, and still VERY relevant. So why the dead forum?:|:(

Most folks come to the forums when something doesn't work or they can't figure something out. Battery is pretty straightforward. It's actually a good sign there aren't many posts about it.

I see. While I agree that that is a good thing, Id still like to see a more active forum. So many questions go unanswered, nowadays. Oh well, I guess.

The Komplete section of the forum is pretty huge, with all the per-product subforums. I don't know how most people browse the forum here- I always use New Posts, which shows me posts across the entire forum. So if there's a question anywhere on the board I might be able to answer, I'll see it.

But I wonder if a lot of people who come here just click into individual subforums that are relevant to them at the time. Anyone who navigates that way is probably only going to see questions here if they've got a Battery problem themselves, or they're really bored. :)

Battery remains one of my favorite VSTs. No question it has amazing power. I still use Battery as a starting platform for setting up HUGE multi-instrument Kontakt drum kits (Kontakt imports Battery files -- and you can have multiple Battery patches open simultaneously in Kontakt -- eg one for snare, one for kick, etc.etc. just like the Kontakt kits you buy -- then add routing, FX and use master tuning inside Kontakt).

This forum seems to be a newbie place that ask the same tired questions. There used to be a bunch of great ideas posted regularly. I've posted a bunch of solutions and new ideas over the years -- seach on my user name. Got a tip or idea? I'll try to post a new tip soon.

Yes battery is great as it is.:D

Thanks for that Kontakt tip, I am still struggling with Kontakt, to the point that I haven't use it that much, because I haven't discovered it in depth yet...
With K-8, I got too much and no time to master it all...
