After installing the upgrade, deck copy doesn't work for me anymore. I have a button on my VCI-100 mapped to "Duplicate Deck *" - no other stuff/macros going on there.

The Deck duplicates fine, the track gets copied to the target deck, the "needle" is at the same position it was on the source deck at the moment I pressed the "duplicate" button. BUT the target deck is paused! The feature is rendered useless.

This worked fine in 1.0.1 with the same settings.

I tried working around this mess mapping "Play/Pause" or "CUP" to the same button as "duplicate", feature still broken. You really know how to piss your customers.

For me it didn't worked in 1.0.1 and in 1.1 neither. I reported to NI but they just asked for further information. Actually it even won't work the way it did before when you drag and drop the deck with the mouse - so it should not have to do with MIDI.
It only worked only correctly in the old Traktor Version 3 (at least on my system)

My workaround now is to push the button twice in very short sequence based on this midi commands.

    For first button press:
(only if value of modifier is 0):copy deck x to deck y
    (only if value of modifier is 0):assign value 1 to modifier;

    For second button press:
(only if value of modifier is 1):start deck Y
(only if value of modifier is 1):reset modifier to 0

If snap is on and you push swiftly, the two decks will run 100% synchroneous. And even if not: an additional hit on "sync" will do the job.

OK - kind of stupid, but at least a way out to handle it.

Just for the files (as it seems that nobody else has this problem):

in the meantime I found a more elegant workaround using the MIDI OX utility program by generating 3 consecutive MIDI events when the intended button to release this function on the Midi controller is pressed:
    Then in TPro
Event 1 causes the target Deck to pause
Event 2 invokes the duplicate deck from source to target deck
Event 3 (wit a 500ms delay) will invoke the target deck to play again.

Now it works /when snap is on) even with only one touch of a button and no modifers and even on my system

rudi-j, you're on the right track because indeed it has sth to do with a side effect with other preferences, e.g. stop deck at end of track etc.

NI is aware of the issue and working on a solution.

It still doesn't work with v1.1.2 on my system: dragging a track from deck A to B just invokes a copy, but playout doesn't auto-start...
