I've just put together a remix for the Ableton competition using Absynth, Reaktor, FM8 and Kontakt and this is what i came up with. I'm pretty happy considering i only had 24 hours to finish it.

If you like the track let me know and i'll send a copy. Last time i checked i was hovering around the top 20 out of about 1200 entries, so if you feel like voting that would be great!

Massive thanks to everyone thats voted so far.

Out of over 1,500 entries i'm sitting around the top 30 which is amazing, so thanks again for the support!

I'm sure you know how these competitions work, it's more of a popularity contest and how many Soundcloud followers you have which is a croc of ****. I wish people would start running competitions and judge on actual quality.

Anyhow if i end up in the top 25 when the comp ends, a winner will be chosen based on quality of the song.....so i'm really trying to get myself in there to have a chance.

There's still plenty of time to vote so if you get chance to have a listen and place a vote i'd really appreciate it. And if anyone wants a copy PM me and i'll send one over.

nice track I'm into the same style music what did you use for the baseline was it FM8 or Absynth? I'm wanting to get a synth but I'm not sure which is best suited for good deep baselines

    Hey mate

I forgot to mention i also used Massive, which is what i used for the bassline. Massive would be a good one to get for basslines, Albino is also really good for bass.
