Demo version tags are not removed.

Looking to expand my knowledge about Guitar Rig, today I installed several demo products that work in the Guitar Rig interface.

Basically what I was looking for was to test how the third party IR load should be done in the Reflektor product (not Reflektor Lite).
After the test, I uninstalled the demo versions, but the preset labels were not removed.

Also, for a brief moment, I found that the Control Room Pro component presets were duplicated (same preset but with the _GR3 suffix, with the same setting, look and sound) Now it seems to have disappeared.

So what is exactly are your issues here? Love to help...just not sure what is really going on.

 

The problem is, the labels are not removed when I uninstall the product (Traktors 12, Rammfire or Reflektor).
Those labels are generated by the installation of these products, so they are labels for factory presets (not for user presets that it might be convenient to keep), so it doesn't make sense to keep them if the product (with its components) is not there, and the associated preset neither (because basically, they couldn't work as they are either since they include some exclusive component of the product), and, in later installations, this label structure appears again by default.

The quick solution for this was to reset the database in the options menu and these labels disappeared correctly, without affecting the labels and user presets.

About the incidence with the Matched cabinet component presets (apparently duplicated with the GR3 suffix), I did tests today and the conclusions will be published here: https://www.native-instruments.com/...binet-control-room-y-control-room-pro.374641/
