    Hi :)
Läuft Scratch Pro unter Traktor Pro 3 auch auf meinem Denon DN-MC6000 Controller? Danke!

I asked this question back in November. Still waiting for a reply.

I would like to switch, but need to know Pro 3 will work with the 6000mk2

Hi Derek, I didn't get any answers if Traktor Pro 3 will work with the Denon DN-MC 6000 (mine is MK1). I did buy Traktor Pro 3 and I will start to find it out. After that I will let you know if it worked. Greetz, Gerd

I just had a reply for Tech Support. They say if your MC6000mkII was working with Traktor Pro 2, it should be OK with Traktor Pro 3. I plan on upgrading in the next couple of weeks, I'll let you know how it goes when I do,

    Actual reply from Support
"Yes, it would work in Traktor Pro 3 just like with your TP2. You will be able to use it just the same way."

After upgrading to Traktor Pro 3 I tried using Scratch with my Denon Dn MC6000 but it doesn't work, showing a lot of errors. I'm not able to fix them and there is no support fron Native Instruments. So I will return to use my Denon without turntables. :-(

Hey all. Not a tech but I'm using Traktor 3 and a Denon MC6000mk2. Here's my experience after updating and moving from my trusty old Windows 7 HP Laptop (2011, beast of a machine when purchased)... To my newer Dell Windows 10 laptop.

    Issues:
Crashing - Happens on Serato AND Traktor.
Audio Glitching, sometimes immediately, sometimes during a set.
Buttons 'not working as I'd like...'

    Cures:
Crashing - Switched from Denon's AISO to Denon MC6000Mk2 'WASAPI' Exclusive mode.
Audio Glitching - Made sure all 'inputs' are cleared from preferences (I also think the Denon AISO was a great cause of this)
Buttons 'not working as Id like...'

I know there's a way to get it working.
    In Serato it works 'perfectly'...

Load a track - Track goes to first cue point.
Serato - CUE - Solid Red (CUE is set and ready to go), PLAY - Flashing Green (Paused ready to play)
Traktor - No reaction on CUE or PLAY

    Press Play:
Serato - CUE stays solid red (CUE point is set and ready to jump too) PLAY - Solid Green. (I am playing a track!)
Traktor - CUE - No reaction, Play goes solid green.

    You Pause while playing.
Serato - CUE and PLAY both flashing their colours, CUE is ready to set a new CUE point. Track is Paused ready to play.
Traktor - Both play and pause go blank.

You're at the start of a track, (should be... CUE is Solid Red, PLAY is flashing) And move the jog wheel.
Serato - CUE will flash letting you know it's ready to start a new CUE point. Play continues to flash.
    Traktor - Nothing....

Press the CUE button in traktor and it'll light up but go blank as soon as you release it.

The above is the one I've not been able to fix yet, but as I understand it, it's a 'standard' with Traktor and many '3rd party controllers' but it can be fixed in the Midi edit, but I just don't understand that yet so I'm all ears if anyone can help!! :D

I've done a few medium length live sets since fixing the crash/audio glitch and it seems ok to me now.

I finally figured out the correct combination of settings, but the whole thing is wacky. DVS is working with the MC6000, but it requires four channels to work. Here is what I did:

    1. On back of device, set mixing mode to "Int Mix"
    2. On the mixer, set channels 1 and 4 to line 1 and line 2. Set 2 and 3 to Midi.
    3. Although there are 4 different Denon drivers now on my machine, only one works. It is specifically called "DENON DJ ASIO driver (ASIO)
    4. In the Traktor settings for Output routing , set Mixing Mode to External.
All other settings are normal in the software (I think).

The gain in channels 1 and 4 on the mixer appear to have an effect on the signal strength of the control vinyl. Adjust the gain accordingly until you get a good calibration. I got it to work at level 8 out of 20.

Midi control does not function on the mixer. Midi control of Traktor does work with an external controller. I plugged in an X1 MK2 and it handled everything as expected.

Native-Instruments "Scratch for all" is probably a stretch. The MC6000 should work out of the box. If anyone has found a better way to do this, please chime in.
