Couple of questions with the above unit :

Can the hc4500 control all traktors 4 decks ?...using 2 for mixing and loading samples into decks c and d ? I can only get 2 to work at a time....?

And recording, I am using a external Denon dnx500 mixer how do i set this up to record in traktor via the `rec out` in the back of the mixer ? Would I need a rca to phono cable and put the phono in a headphone jack on the laptop and set-up as an inpit source...i.e Input D....if so does anyone know exactly how to do it ?

Midi mapping also does anyone have decent maps I can use as I am just using the standard ones with the software and unsure how to map

    thanks in advance,

    Mark.

You can only play 2 decks external from the soundcard in the hc4500. In order to use 4 decks you would have to use traktor's internal mixer and map the crossfader on the x500 to the one in traktor. You'll have to use one channel on your mixer for traktor's master output and one for traktor's monitor out.

You would have to tell us more about your system specs.
