Denon Prime Series Support? - Update 2021?

Any News on Traktor HID support for Denon DJ Prime Series?

NI is way too stubborn to support them!

 

but on the LC 6000 Produkt Page Traktor is mentioned at least about rights of the brandname in the foot notes.

 

If thats the case thats not smart. With not supporting them NI is pushing me away from Traktor to Denon instead of binding me to Traktor in Long term.

 

NI used to be top software. NI made a mistake ignoring other hardware manufacturers.

This is an essential, essential request.

I would expect Traktor are hesitant to offer support for the LC6000 due to the continued popularity of the S4 MK3 and Kontrol D2. I'd wager Traktor would offer a competing product before they offer HID support for this.

Support for the SC5000/6000 is truly a no brainer at this point though and already been requested multiple times. If the CDJ3000 was clearly a priority for Traktor's touring DJ customers (why else would they do it considering how slow they were to support the XDJ range), then the SC range should be a priority for Traktor's bedroom/event DJs, which earn them more.

Let's hope it's already in the works and just taking time to get right. Potentially streaming needed to be implemented first.

 

Even if NI offers its own hardware, it cannot build a controller for every taste. They are too small for that.
When the S4 MK3 was released I wanted to buy it, but then I saw the mini displays and thought what the **** is that supposed to mean?
Everyone's displays get bigger except at NI. Because NI has little hardware, you have to support the other manufacturers as well, otherwise they will go under.

 

I'm into the same thing. By not updating their hardware or compatibility for the Denon SC5000 / 6000 series, I will leave Traktor completely. I have then been a loyal user for 15 years. Today I use Traktor S8 and an extra D2. It is very close now that I completely switch to Denon in any case. Then I completely leave Trakor's Ecosystem. They have built themselves into a dead end. Now that stand alone is becoming more common and better. Really sad. Because I really like Traktor Pro. Colored s4 as an anniversary offer was in not much to cheer for!

 

I like Traktor Pro and have used with a S4 mk3. To get further I have ordered an LC6000. Of course there are only 2 possibilities for me. To get the LC6000 work flawlessly with Traktor Pro or even that it will be hard, switch to another DJ software and to sell my S4 mk3.

 

It would be nice to see Traktor support for the denons.

When I use my denon deck with the Akai amx and plug it into serato it works very well in hid mode.

However with the introduction of Abelton Link on the denons I’m able to use them in Traktor in standalone mode. I can do a lot more with my setup now.



The denon, loopstation and Traktor are all synced. The amx passes audio through decks 3+4 and controls the channel strips and fx for them and the output feeds the loopstation kinda like a send/return while the s2 does the usual deck 1+2, headphones monitoring and master out.

 

Ok, today I got my first LC6000. Its a great piece of hardware. Feels and looks so cool. During the next days I will try to figure out how I can make it perfectly work with Traktor Pro. Compared to the LC6000, my S4 MK3 feels like a toy but I still would say that I like it.

It’s not a controller. It’s the rc505 loopstation. I use it as a sampler, loop recorder and effector. It’s kinda like a standalone remix deck.

I mostly use it by itself like this.

I bought it after seeing this video

 

I have just ordered a set of sc6000 and x1850 which I hope Traktor will support. I want to stay in the softwareprogram/environment, but in terms of hardware, the Trator is not in the competition. The alternative is that I leave Traktor completely, This would be a shame, as the risk is that I will not return at all, no matter what new hardware or software. No further comments will be left for development either. If more people do thi, Tractor will die very quickly.

Only to get you. You own a Prime 4 and are looking for Traktor Pro support. Where do you see the advantages? Denon just released Engine OS 2.1 and the community find it incredibly.
