Finally got my decks back from the club and took a photo of my home setup.
Intended to make new deck stand but as im moving house soon i just bodged and extended my old rubbish one.
Not the tidiest of setups but im not a tidy guy.

Desolat control vinyl in action. All the rest plus the 7"s at the back.

They are definitely funky looking and he has two of them to boot!

 

And bags! I want my bag. Back ordered I guess.

 

I refuse to rock an X1 without a matching bag. And soon it shall be so. Soon indeed.

 

Yeah the bags are nice and they will be in stock pretty soon.
They have a neat feature, inside there are 2 stiff flaps that lay flat when the X1 is inside but they raise up and velcro to the inside to support the top panel so that the X1 doesnt wobble or press down into the bag.

They need to sort this dual Midi issue out with the Control Editor, Daniel says it will be soon but they are fine in Native mode. In fact i plugged them in after installing the software and they just work right out of the box. Solid 4 deck action straight away. 2 timecode/2 internal all with the X1s for the silly stuff. Just gotta remember which decks are controlled by which X1

Yeah poor Faderfox unused. Ill never sell it though. Its seen me through many years of gigs. In fact when the DX3 comes out ill get one of those anyway just for sh*ts & giggles.

Glad to finally have all my gear back and set up. Its been months since ive had everything in one place.

 

@ Karlos - Very, Very nice Setup! I love that you have Maschine included into your setup!

Do you see an advantage for using midi over native mode? I've customized my native assignments and it works really nicely. It already does 90% of what I want out of the box. I definitely use more effects now. The control is so easy and intuitive.

 

To be honest i dont see any advantage unless you have a use an earlier version of Traktor. It just confused me at first that it wasnt possible and the manual is incorrect.

Native mode is fine and your right the X1 does 90% of what i need out of the box.
Just a few things i need to tweak and im golden.

 

Here's my set-up complete with Desolat vinyl and the white vinyl with the Desolat label. I also included my custom X1 stand as I await the proper X1 bag and stand.
