'deus ex maschine' - the ultimate Traktor Pro 2 mapping for Maschine

- fixed a few bugs
- the LED output now appears reliable using 'Send Montor State'
- the LCD screen output can glitch from time to time. Probably down to sending too many MCU screen commands at the same time. Might have to consilodate them into fewer but larger commands
- trying to figure out the easiest way of making 'deck copy', 'deck copy to slot', 'sample recorder to deck/slot' and 'load from list' simple to use
- gonna make the knob modes a bit more streamlined and easier to use
- dropping the AFL VU thing. It's annoying and pointless

 

- cues are up and running. Jumping to cues saved as loops automatically activates the loop. ERASE + cue deletes the cue
- wrote some filters for Bome's that swallow MIDI output commands to the Maschine pads if they are identical to the last one sent. Should cut down on MIDI data being sent, can hopefully keep the LEDs working properly without 'Send Monitor State' which is a klutz

I used past weekend to start using this setup (Maschine controller on Traktor Pro 2.0.1): very well done, I'm really impressed, especially for displays

I found out one mistake, in mapping "Effect 1 Select", maybe it's good to let you know, whose value should be "Ch02.CC015" in my opinion, and changed CUE and CUP (not useful to me) to "Tempo Bend".

Well I'm recuperating now and even better my Macbook Pro has arrived. Got it set up and MIDI seems to be working a lot more predictably on the Mac. Hopefully this'll give me the spur I need to crack on with it...

Started word on a '1 finger' group fx beatmasher mode

Bug: Maschine sometimes hangs, requires restart of Bomes

 

Implemented: some deus mode functions

I then spent several hours mucking around with touchOSC. What feels clumsy in Maschine sometimes is the lack of Volume Faders and EQ mixer section. So I made it on my iPhone...

 

Is this mapping still in progress? It looks great

 

how far can you go with displaying information on the lcd? can you only manipulate the middle two lines? what about special characters or symbols?

X1 makes a decent volume/EQ controller alongside Maschine. Also a nice visual match. Profiles match perfectly if you raise X1's back feet 10mm or so.
