DFD

    This maybe a stupid question. I get the "no momory block big enough" error when loading large instruments in kontakt 3. I've read I can fix it by changing the DfD settings, so I tried that, and it tells me "DFD is not available. Please install the NI DFD extension!"
    I'd love to, but i can't find it anywhere. Is there a link, or something? Or do I have to dig out the box and get it off a disc? I just re-installed off an external hard drive, you see. I never had this problem before having to re-install.

    You'll need to find your original DVD to get that file. Sounds like you have an incomplete install if you don't have that extension on your computer.

    I found my original disk and re-installed Kontakt... but no DFD extension appeared. Has anyone else had this problem?

    hello,

    the DFD extension was provided in a separate installer which should be available in the update section of Kontakt.
