Diagnosing "successful updates" which reappear - is there an update log?

    Hi all,

    I'm missing something and am trying to diagnose what I'm doing wrong. I have 13 updates that Service Center thinks it has updated successfully. But when I restart Service Center, it discovers that the products have not actually updated. My favorite theory is that directories are misconfigured, but Service Center thinks they are fine.

    I'm wondering if there's an update log that the Service Center app produces. That may be a source of a clue as to what's going wrong.
