Hi Guys, I was wondering if there is a difference between running Scratch Pro on a Macbook pro or a PC. I see all the Dj's using a Mac and wonder why they don't use a PC. Can someone help, thanks.

Mac run OSX, PC run Windows. Both can run software, but have screen, mouse, screen, Keyboard and have USB ports. As simple as that.

i have said b 4 it is all on personal preference, macs are kinda pricey, so are BMW,
so that's a decision you have to make on your own... but do take notice the next time a DJ is on stage(what is the laptop they use) .....back to your first question....

Thanks for the replies guys. I know some of you don't want to get into the apple vs. pc fued.... But I have done my research, a lot of it. I've talked to computer software engineers, computer repair guys, and even hackers. No one and I mean no one can tell me why dj's use an apple rather then a pc. These are the points they've told me.

    - More reliable (as far as for travel)
    - Less chances of getting a virus

Now, back to my question, why do dj's use traktor on an apple rather then on a pc.

    Thanks!

we had the discussion so many times before.
I already saw many DJs with Windows PC and I saw many DJs with Macs. Just use, what you like most and be sure to know what to do with windows :)

There are a many reasons why you should get a Mac.
The only reason why you may end up with a Pc is because Pc's are cheaper.

    Agreed.

Please search this and other forums for Mac vs PC information.

It is probably the most debated topic ever and there is nothing new to add here.
