Not only to write songs, but also to have more extensive live sets running on a same project! I hope to live to the day when you'll be able to go through 2 hours of music in a single Maschine project :)

What makes me thing of another feature: controlling the tempo in decimals, like 120.3, 120.4, etc...

You can already access micro-tempos using Shift along with the main encoder knob while TEMPO is lit. Normally, the knob adjusts the project tempo by 1.0 BPM, but while Shift is held down, the adjustment is 0.01 BPM.

It would be nice to be able to automate this.

What?? is it a joke??? it's not possible to automate tempo on Maschine MK3? It's one of the best way to make live music and make people dance and it's not possible to do it on Maschine MK3??? Is Maschine MK3 a toy for children???? I'm really disappointed to learn that? It's not serious.

This would be another example of internal virtual midi ports (input) being the most needed and useful feature in Maschine and M+.

All we would need at that point is to make a simple Reaktor clock ensemble which changes tempo based on midi input. We could set the clock source as the virtual midi port and place a tempo change note at any point in our arrangement, no need for scene complications.

Yes! We need this NI. What's the holdup?

Might be taking so long to implement because their software design probably has tempo being a global (project level) rather than a "mobile" variable, therefore they would need to touch a lot of code in order to make this work. Think about all the implications of tempo being bound to a scene/section. They would need to add options for setting global tempo vs. scene tempo, would need a setting on the scene to say whether or not it is using its own tempo, or global. Then automating tempo changes is event more complicated, is it per scene? Can it span scenes/sections like a clip? A dedicated full song length global automation track for temp? Makes my brain hurt... :|

But yeah! Do it! We need it!

What if there was a "global" group that you could hide. like Group 0 or something, and then you could put a tempo multiplier on it as an effect?
