Hi Terry, I'm not allowed to send PMs as my post count is too low. Mine arrived in about a week I think. NAMM has probably made everyone get a little behind with things. Fingers crossed for you. It's well worth the wait.

Sorry i don't have that. when i try and look at the files on the disk all it says is "drag files to this folder to add them to the disc." When I pull up the properties it states 0 bites used space and 0 bites free space.

Yea! this guy is cool about it and will be sending me another set tomorrow. The only thing I can think of that could have happen was the wrong disk was put in the mail by mistake. When I worked for another company refurbishing PC's It wasn't unheard of the wrong disks would go in the wrong package. So I can understand it happening.

Not yet. I will tonight when I get off of work. I only had time to load it on to my PC last night. I sent pettinhouse an email last night letting him know there maybe issues of certain CD/DVD drives may not see it properly. But after I did an firmware up date for the Sony DVD +rw drive I able to see what was on the CD.

Hey thanks I was able to work a little bit with it tonight. I really like it so far. I do how every would like to know how you were able to achieve the taping as described in your heavy medal key switching bridge pick up video. everything else so far will need to be worked out as I become better at it.

    Thanks.

PS: I fear there maybe other CD/DVD drives that ma run into problems as well considering I did try to read it on other drives to no avail. last week. I thought you should know.

    Terry,

In bridge pickup set, tapping is via one of the keyswitches (either A or A# off the top of my head) but don't forget that all articulations depend on key velocity to allow for combined playing. This sytem allows you to play straight passages with certain articulations being introduced with harder velocities. At low velocities you are able to changes key switches without affecting what you are playing. Incredibly useful once you get the hang of it for live playing.

    Hey Kevin Thanks!

I just got home was able to really delve into it. I did figure out the tapping aspects of it. Is there any way to lower the velocity requirements of it Ive adjusted my axiom 49 to every conceivable velocity setting I can think of and I yet to figure out how to do that in Kontakt 2 or 3. Any Ideas on that. Other than that its pretty cool. Now its either I get a hammer or a new keyboard I really have to slam the keys to work or should I say activate the tapping.

The velocity for the hammer on is set to 127 (max), presumably so you don't trigger them by accident. You could edit this in Kontakt so that they trigger from about 118 up over, but don't forget that you would have to lower the next group down from 126 down to 117 and also the alternate samples (round robin). I can alter the velocity curve on my Motif to 'soft' which makes it much easier to play full velocity notes.

I kinda did the same thing in kontakt 2. I just opened up the script editor and set the velocity curve to easy. It help a little But just the same I should not have to pound on my axiom to get it to trigger. Ive gone through every velocity setting on it from c-1 to c-9 and it is still about the same. I figuring the keyboard must be at fault and had planed on replacing it with either a cme or a novation. I just need to have time to go over to Guitar center and check them out if they have them. I might also check out the Juno d as well.
