Distortion and sound slows down?

    I'm having issues with using traktor le with my vestax typhoon.. It works for about 30 seconds and then the music will slow down and distort.. I've fiddled with a few of the settings with no luck. I'm a fair novice when it comes to this stuff so Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Slow's down what do you mean by that? does it drop down in bmp or..

    well the bpm doesnt change on the screen, but the music gets really slow and sounds crackled and distorted.. i then screw around with the latency settings and itll work again for another 30 seconds - a minute, then does it again. REALLY getting on my nerves....

    I had that problem with my Audio 6. Swapped it to another USB port and it got fixed immediately. AFAIK the USB ports in my laptop (MBP 15" 2.4 GHz) don't output the same amount of power. Seems like they really are hooked to an USB hub inside the computer to where the keyboard, trackpad, bluetooth, camera, etc. also are hooked up to.

    Try hooking your Typhoon up to another USB port and see if that helps.
