DJ 2 + Kontrol S2 = no connection

    Hi,
    my cousin was kind enough to donate his old S2 but it came without software. So I tried Virtual DJ and it worked but there were some mapping issues. So I installed DJ 2. However, I don't get Dj 2 and the controller connected. There is a connection between laptop and controller but not to the software. I tried it on two laptops - same problem on both devices. Latest drivers are installed. Any Idea what the problem could be and how to solve it?

    If it's the S2 MK1 with the black jogwheels, Traktor DJ 2 does not support it. See the FAQ.

    You need to buy Traktor Pro.

    [EDIT] I'm afraid you are right. Is quite old and looking at some pictures it's probably the MK1.

    Thanks Erik. On top and on the small label on the bottom it says "Kontrol S2". So I guess it's not the MK1 Version. Or how can I check this?
