DJ mixer that can output STEMS on individual channels?

    I'm guessing the answer is no, but am wondering if there's a DJ mixer that can assign individual stems to their own outputs? So it would have 4 outputs per track.

    If you're wondering why, it's because I want to use them on a multichannel sound system, where I have independent control of how each stem is spatialised in the room.

    Any help welcome!

    To feed sound into such a mixer, you would first need to get multichannel audio out of DJ software.
    I have not heard of a multichannel DJ mixer.
    So I suspect that you would want to custom map a controller (or multiple controllers) to control a soundcard, and the soundcard would do this for you. You'd probably want a big expensive multichannel soundcard that can do lots of mixing tricks.
    If you can get multichannel / separate stem audio tracks from the master mix out of Traktor, then you'd have to set up the soundcard to distribute the channels. Since you probably don't want four sounds from four directions and no mixing, that's likely to sound weird.

    this way you can control the audio environment discreetly, and if Traktor allows, use something like the Traktor D2 controller to control the stem volumes going into the mix.

    Since your comment is almost half a year ago, I'd be curious what came out of this, anyway. Hope you've figured this out.

    ATM I think only VDj has the potential (or maybe the feature?) for dedicated stem outputs but if Traktor implements it a good mixer-like option could be old Korg Zero8. Meanwhile S8 or D2s are the virtual pre-mixer into 2/4 regular mixing paradigm.
    Also going Ableton live is the most common route at the cost of losing the turntable/jog control paradigm.
    Other option is Rane One with Djay Pro on iPad (you will need Neural AI supported model). No dedicated outputs but the nearest to “perfect” setup from each POV and available technology nowadays.

    I can suggest another approach with turntable/jog paradigm inside Ableton (so you can get dedicated ouputs) but not sure how brave are you... realtime stems are for the brave but using multiple instances of an uncommon DVS plugin for syncing stems seems only suitable for mad scientist (like I was once upon a time...) :}

    Hey, I would suggest you explore each end of the spectrum... here goes:

    DJM V10 from Pioneer. Plug in USB to laptop, assign as Ableton interface, route anywhere from one to SIX groups individually to the mixer. BOOM.

    Option 2: Denon Prime X1800/x1850 mixer. USB audio interface as well. Plug into laptop, run Ableton, send each group to individual tracks on mixer (Max of 4).

    Enjoy! No, you aren't "sending Traktor Stems" to the mixer, but you can send stems (or groups, or any other layers) discretely to the mixer. I have more info/setup tips, etc if you are curious. Maybe I'll even make a video!
