    Hey guys,

I am planning to throw parties for which I will be using Traktor Pro 2 with some DJ controllers. Now regarding controllers, I am on a really limited budget which prevents me from buying one of those tasty 4 channel Pioneer DJ controllers. So if I get Pioneer SB2 (2 channel controller) and probably Akai APC Mini and connect them to Traktor, will it be a nice alternative to a 4 channel controller? But since APC MIni doesn't have a built in audio interface will it prevent me from cueing tracks? Or can I cue in Traktor itself?
Alternatively, if someone here has other proposals on how to create a budget setup according to my needs, I will be very very thankful.

That setup will add up really quick. You'd still have to buy the Traktor software and an audio interface. Or just buy the Kontrol S2 (or other Kontrol controller) and have all of that. Everything is 15% off at DJ Tech Tools right now.

S2 is a 2 channel controller and it seems like a toy to me... I would go with SB2 instead.
So for using Akai controller I still need an audio interface? No way to connect it through SB2 or cue from Traktor itself?

Huh? Where ist the S2 more a "toy" than the SB2?

With the S2 you get a TRAKTOR license with it, which makes it really a good deal when you're on the budget. I use this controller often for dj workshops and like how straightforward it ist. Still, there are many second level functions mapped so you really can have a lot of joy with it before it's maxed out...

The SB2 is mapped for Serato. You would have to remap every single button, or find a mapping that someone already made.
