Hey guys, I ordered a reloop digital jockey 2 master edition last night (comes tomorrow) and stupidly didnt order any rca cables! Is it possie to have the sound come through laptop speakers and still use the controllers audio interface / soundcard so I can cue tracks using headphones?

    Thanks!

(sorry for any spelling mistakes, on my mobile!)

Using traktor pro 2 and a Macbook Pro 13" 2011 edition btw ^^

No you can't. Excuse me if I sound rude but that idea is pretty silly. Best off buying a cheap set of speakers.

Yes you can, if you aggregate your computer's internal soundcard with the reloop's soundcard.

But that won't give him clear sound using the laptop speakers. I know a cheap set of speakers is not the best but it would be better than laptop speakers.

I guess the op just wanted something to get by with until he gets an extra set of rca cables which I assume that he will use to connect to whatever he need those cables to connect to for sound

Yeah, thanks guys, I ordered the cables tonight, but unfortunately they aren't gonna be here for a few days, meaning I'm gonna have to stare longingly at my controller!

I assume I can still scratch etc using the controller, with the software and just not use the audio interface in the controller?

Yep that is possible. You can set your audio device to your laptops internal soundcard but you won't be able to cue (unless you aggregate your soundcards). All the knobs and faders should work as expected though.
