My Traktor can't selected DJM900 Nexus as audio out put!

My systems can receive DJM 900 nexus utility signal from the mixer but my program can't select it.

    Please help.

What version of Traktor are you using and what OS are you using? It looks like a problem I've seen recently with Windows machines using Traktor–there's currently not a 64bit version of Traktor for Windows so it has been causing some issues with device recognition.

I am using Traktor 2.8.1 with DJM-900NSX and it works fine but I did the installation some months ago with Traktor 2.7.3 (the 32 bit version) I don't know if the new Traktor can recognise the DJM-900NSX because is 64 bit and the Pioneer driver still 32 bit, you can follow the installation procedure step by step and find out yourself. Actually the DJM-900 is a Traktor Scratch certified machine but they didn't mention if the 64 bit (version 2.8) is supported. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/DJ/Mixers/DJM-900NXS

I'm having the same issue while using the DJM900 concurrently with Apogee Duet 2. As soon as I unplug the Duet 2, Traktor recognizes the DJM900. No other daw or software I use is doing this, the problem is only with Traktor. I installed all the drivers, updated the firmware etc.

Multiple audio interfaces can only be used within OSX when they're combined into a singular aggregate device.

I'm not trying to use multiple devices in Traktor. Problem is having an Apogee Duet 2 plugged in makes Traktor not recognize the Nexus on my system. Native Instruments is working on a fix.

Gotcha, so you're saying that the NXS900 isn't a visible option within Traktor's audio preferences when the Duet 2 is plugged in.

Yep, and i just unplug Duet 2's cable and instantly Nexus is recognized and connected. I see you have the DJm-900 and Quartet, are you having similar problem in Traktor if they are both plugged in? Thanks for your response.

i am having the same issue, just upgraded to 2.9 and it will not recognise my DJM900 but the DJM900 utility does. I do not have a Duet 2 as i have no idea what it is, i do, however have a f1 and a x1 which goes through a little usb hub.

To be honest, I never have them in at the same time. I try to limit the amount of interfaces I have in use and use them only as needed. When I'm working in my DAWs, I keep Quartet in with DJM900NXS unplugged. When DJing, the DJM takes over and I unplug the Quartet.

Hopefully you're not using El Capitan as it's currently an open-beta. If you have El Capitan installed, I would suggest rolling back to a time machine backup. Nothing good comes from running interface dependent devices under an OS that has not been proven as stable. Typically, I wait 6 months or so once a new OS has been released in order for all software/hardware companies to play catchup and iron out any bugs. That's just my two cents.

Today, Monday 05 October I ran some tests and I can say that Traktor still doesn't want make love with the DJM-900 NSX using OS X El Capitan. Probably we have to wait the new Pioneer drivers.

Try installing the new rekordbox 4.0. When done, start it up and select the DJM 900 as your audio device. That will install a new Driver for the DJM 900. That fixed my issue with El Capitan and Traktor. Hope this was helpful.

I tried this and wasn't so lucky. I even went so far as to install the driver twice and Traktor still isn't recognizing my DJM-900.

I have the same issue trying to connect via USB to my DJM-850, running El Capitan 10.11.1 and Traktor 2.10.

Here's a list of Pioneer hardware that has available updates for El Capitan. Sadly, 900NXS driver for El Capitan is still being tested and has not yet been released. ETA Dec 2015

No rush, I'm not so excited to upgrade to El Capitan, my system now is pretty good, 3 months without any issue so I don't have any reason to change. El Capitan sucks, there is nothing really interesting in this new OS, only two and a half stars on the App store will have a meaning!
