Hi i play out quite a lot using cdjs and cds, however i've taken the plunge and got scratch pro now i have a few questions.

    1. I know it has the multicore cables but what if i need to get to the back of a mixer and i cant. Normally what i would do is

Unplug the cdjs phono cables and take those into the soundcard output 1 & 2.

Then get my own cables and go from the cdjs and take them into my interface inputs 1 & 2.

Therefore not needing to get into the back of the mixer and setting up nice and quick

What do i do with the mulitcore cables can I do this still? I really want the set up at a gig to be really easy and simple but im not sure

    What do you guys do?

I simply don't use the multicore's when I play out. I bring 2x RCA cables with me. I take the L/R out of CDJ 1 and plug that into the OUT 1/2 and plug my own into the CDJ and then into the IN 1/2. And then repeat that for the next CDJ.

    Basically what you said.

I have bought 6 RCA cables, just to prevent. You don't need top of the line cables, but make sure they are reliable (solid tips).

The multicore cables are very useful for connecting turntables, that's why I only use them at home.

    Cheerio

If you want to use the multicores like that you need 4 double-female rca adapters. So you an swicth the 1 side of each RCS from male to female. I think.
