meaning.. If I scratch a record in, once I let go of the vinyl, will it land sync'ed on beat?

I was curious about this too, I'd love to scratch tracks in, but am wondering how that works with sync and once it's playin what the turntable pitch would do... I thought there were different modes, CD/Vinyl/Grid so I assumed the vinyl mode would be totally different

you may scratch then hit a hot cue and land back perfect
in time if quantize is on.

it will work just like if you using turtables not autosync per program

so if your off a bit it will show hittin sync button manually will be required upon releasing platter

I just switched from Serato to TSP... I was trying that out last saturday actaully... You can scratch it in then hit sync... I actually didn't think to pay attention to my scratch drop ins... i'm very quick off the draw when it comes to fixing the beatmatch...

But I'll try it tomorrow at my gig... see if it snaps... I dont own turntables are home or else I would try it now...

as an old serato user, how does it compare.. feel wise?

Im also quick off the draw but it would be really cool to just let go of the record and it drop perfectly in sync... jeez, im so lazy now.

I love the way traktor feels... It's so much tighter. Scratching is a lot better. Rarely any USB drop outs even when I have the latency way down. Still getting used to the playlist area. Had to create all my "crates" in Traktor. that took a few hours...

But as for spinning... I love it... feels smooth.

I agree. Tighter is a good way to describe it. Its as though the torque of your decks that you are used to is better reflected in the softwares control (that make sense? does to me).

Thats what im afraid of.. BUT.. Before Serato came out, I was on Final Scratch 1.4... People would constantly complain about it but luckily, I never had a crash at a gig... Im itching to try out TSPro but dont know anyone in the NYC area that has it...
