I bought the Maschine Studio which came with Massive and Prism... and the 2.0 library that was on the DVD.

In the service centre thing, there is only one product not activated - Battery. Does this mean it is installed, but not activated?

I don't see a serial for it anywhere.

This is supposed to be a drum machine, but there are very few drum & percs. There are about 9 hi hats for example... that's a little pathetic for a drum machine, no?

Are they supposed to be in Battery?

    Hello,

with maschine studio normally there is no battery. You get it stand alone or with komplete.
And where are only 9 hi hats?? there must be more if you installed libary correct.

Maybe you're looking in the browser at just the drum synth presets. There aren't LOADS of them. But there are LOADS of sampled drum sounds and kits. You need to look on the Sounds and Groups (or even the individual Samples) tabs for those.

As for Battery, weird that SC is saying you need to activate it. Do you have it installed? I don't know which OS you're on, but look in your programs/applications folder and/or search your computer for it.

So, I go to drums & perc > all products > type: drums,

and I have 6 closed hihats, and 5 open hats.

Not very impressive for a drum machine.

    Where are all the drums/percs?

    ^^thats the answer !!!!

on the left side under libary you have 6 categories from song to sample and that for user and native libary.
So select the sign like a waveform right side from fx and then choose other sub categories there are tonns of samples.
Are you´re looking for samples?? Or are you looking for drum synth presets??

Service Center scans your PC for all known Native Instruments products every time it starts up, and only prompts you for locally detected software. If it's asking for a serial number that means it found Battery- or found files and/or registry keys that it mistook for traces of a Battery installation (it uses several different ways of identifying products). Did you previously have a demo version installed perhaps?

OK so battery isn't installed. No folder in program files or listing in uninstall programs.

I found the drum samples... they are excellent. drumkits too. just getting a feel for this thing still, it's awesome.
