This scenario deserves a closer look:

    Quote NI

"VST plug-ins are loaded into ProTools™ via KORE! Again, KORE bridges the gap – KORE is loaded via RTAS into ProTools™ and your VST plug-ins are running in KORE."

So therefor do RTAS Format plugs run in Kore and then work in a PC VSti host?

In other words if I install them on my PC system with no other RTAS supporting software then Kore will effectively host them with respect to sound design and playing them.?

    Thanks for any info

Thanks ewistrand.....It's just that we have come across various wrappers but none that do RTAS to VSTi(FX Pansions Vsti to RTAS which gave the Pro Tools boyz a lot of extra creativity...but not the inverse)...thought maybe there was some restrictions imposed on the format or not financially viable or technically more complicated to implement....I was hoping NI had maybe cracked this one....there are a lot of excellent plugs I would like to use without buying an RTAS supporting host...maybe I'll just have to get one in the end.

NI.....any comments on this if you happen to be cruising sometime.
