Please, please , please instigate some support of ongoing product support for Pro 53 Piano. There are many people crying out for this, it's not hard and it would do wonders for your customer relations. It is simply not good enough to drop a product and just let it die. I know of know other company that operates this way. Please, in the interest of your customer base and for the sake of you maintaining and growing the people that use your products, do the decent thing. People have paid through the nose for these products, yes OS's change, you're supposed to be a leading technology company, surely a little support and a few patches would go a long way to ensuring customer loyalty and repeat business. Your reputation accross the web is getting a battering for this, is that what you want?

I implore you to do the right thing. B4II, Pro 53, Akoustik Piano and Electrik piano, support and make accesible for Snow Leopard and you have my custom. Don't and you lose it, is that what you want?
I dont want to import samples into Kontakt, it is NOT the same. Customers are asking you to do the right thing, do it or lose them, please!

    Pro-53 piano?
You mean you don't know of Avid (bought Wizoo and killed Xphraze), Apple (bought eMagic and killed off Windows support, and then killed off SoundDiver. Or, dropping PPC support with SL), MOTU (dropping PC support for Unisyn when they made 2.0 Mac only, and not updating 1.5 to run on NT systems), etc.? Or Bitheadz, which went out of business and didn't provide unlock codes for their challenge/response system? Or...
None of those apps sold well on their own, and the recoding needed to make them viable with today's OSes wasn't cost or time effiucient. And, while there's people who are sad that they were dropped, most understand why.
How is it not the same in the case of AP and EP?

Yes, I do know all about Avid et al, been in the industry making a living out of this for over twenty five years. been there, got the book. Yes when Apple bought Emagic and Logic was dropped on PC it was a shame for the home user, but it has done wonders for Logic as a production tool, have you seen how many major projects have been completed in Logic since Apple tool over and turned it around? As for SL and PPC, I got a good 6 years out of my G5's, I'm still using two of them with Leopard, and Apple are still helping me out if I need to call support. Apple have remarkably good customer service.

With regards AP/EP sounding the same, it's not the same, nowhere near the same functionality plus the added hassle. If I have to pull up any previous projects for any reason, I now have to rearrange my workflow. ....its a waste of time and an inconvenience really, i'm not going to buy into another product just so I can continue to use what I have already paid for... as for the free Kontakt player, no thanks. Limited functionality and just an attempted lead into buying the full product

As for B4, no Drawer bars, samples are in no way the same as the B4 engine, totally different beasts.

And yes, I meant Pro 53, the piano was a typo. no biggie, but hey, thanks for picking me up on it :)

I'm a customer, voicing an opinion, thats the bottom line.
