    I think your friend is a gear hoarder, it can be an addiction wanting to buy every new gear that cones out...

    Replace all that music gear with Ham radio gear (my main hobby) and that room looks like my Amateur Radio Man Cave Room.

    Lol, well having just aqcuired an MK1 I'd like to say that I use it. It really has taken me away from my ol' lady 'tifa (lol yamaha motif es 6)

    But the motif still has it's uses and will always be a part of my studio. Plus if I am ever in the mood to alter a voice patch in the motif, I can always sample to my Maschine.

    I remember in my early days of producing that I collected alot of gear, But looking back I still dont remember why I had two separate workstations in the Yamaha Motif and Korg M3. I guess a lot of it had to do with finding the sound rather creating it.

    Lol but foreal? Do I make music with my Maschine? I'd have to go with a yes, most definitely.
