Do You Use Vista64?

Are you a Vista64 user and if so what equipment have you found that will work with Vista64? I am having a hard time finding controllers and mixers that work with Vista64. None of the Traktor certfied mixers are Vista64 compadible (according to A&H, Korg, Ecler, Still waiting for a response from Mackie). A&H told me that none of their Xone series will work. I have emails out to Vestax and Faderfox but I am still waiting for a response from them. I have been able to download drivers for my M-Audio Firewire Pro and my Audio Kontrol 1 but thats about it. Everything I want at this point won't work. If you are using Traktor and Vista64 what equipment are you using with it?

 

i am running vista 64 bit with the numark stealth control (which is the same as the omni control but without the built in audio interface) and it is working with traktor 3. i'm also using a presonus firebox audio interface. the only problems I am having are with the configuring of controls, but that is a problem that has been separtely addressed with the omni-control and traktor having to do with the proper configuration in the .tks file. hope that helps

 

Thanks! I will check out the Stealth Control. I see there is another thread that the poster couldn't get it to work with vista64.

 

Update: The Mackie certified mixers will work with Vista32 & Vista64. Faderfox will also work with Vista32 & 64. Still waiting to hear from Vestax.

 

If you got the mackie to work with vista I'd like to know how... cause I can't get my d.4 pro to work with the control vinyl at all on Traktor Scratch Pro

 

That sucks because I just ordered the D4. I hope it's not going to be a $1000 down the drain. I will post when i get it set up. The reason I bought the D.4 was the Vista64 support. I received an email from Mackie and it has the download link for the drivers.
