I just wanted to know if there is a way to send sysex messages from Reaktor into some hardware?

    can Reaktor handle sysex?

OT: Michael where is your Killadrum from UL? It's vanished.

No. Unless something changed recently that I'm not aware of...

That sucks, but I'll have to add it to the feature request forum.

    Thanks everyone.

hi Michael - I don't know if its helps you but the FM8 VSTi can read Sysex from dx synths. may be with carful editing them as single cycles Wav files you can use them with the table module in Reaktor?

    DX sysexs downloads

Not sure how exactly you think that should be done. DX7 sysex contains entirely different data, and none of that data is actual waveforms.

well, you can load the sysex to the FM8 -> than load the FM8 in a DAW -> load one of the sounds out of the sysex into the FM8 and export a wav file of that sound. after that you need to load the waveform back in the DAW and cut 2048 samples out of the waveform, export them and use that 2048 points cycle inside Reaktor with a table module.

The original question was about sending sysex from Reaktor to external hardware. Not sure how hacking external sysex via a FM8 and a DAW to get it into Reaktor will help with that.

I think part of the problem is that while core supports integers and bit manipulation, it has no I/O. And Primary where the I/O is, doesn't support integers, so Sysex support is trickier than standard MIDI for Reaktor, because it exposes a lower level of MIDI, where integer/bit manipulation is necessary. There still should be some sort of viable solution though.
