    The Instrument – Yamaha M5J Upright
    48 true samples per recorded note, 16 pedal up, 16 pedal down and 16 releasesamples.
    Recorded in 24 bit 44.1 kHz.
    Custom impulses captured to use in convoluting reverbs as GigaPulse or Kontakt 2 to emulate pedal down and piano resonance
    Two different perspectives recorded giving you a choice of two different pianosounds
    Planned releasedate: 1:st of June.
    Price: Not yet set.

    Well, the second demo somewhat reminds me about a CD I have which has been produced from authentic piano rolls recorded by Scott Joplin himself. Not the clarity of the sound which obviously cannot be compared, but the overall "ambience" is convincing.

    Very nice, I like it.

    Thanks!

    The demos where made using GS3 and Gigapulse, using impulses from the piano resonanse and pedal down resonance.
    I'm currently working on a Kontakt 2 version that will use the convoluting reverb to do the same.
