    Hey folks,

I'm fairly new to Traktor LE. I'm using it with The Denon DN-HC4500 package.

After some initial setup issues that Denon helped me resolve, I now have something that's software specific.

It doesn't remember my settings. I have to run the setup wizard each time I boot. I have to show it that the ASIO driver does in fact exist, and then I have to re-route the outputs.

It's not a huge deal because I can make it work, but it does kind of make me nervous that I have to take the time to go through setup before a gig. What if something goes wrong in this sensitive stage?

My laptop is a brand new Lenovo DUO-Core with 4gig of ram, 500gb hard drive..Win7 64 bit Professional. (and playback still stutters a little, even after increasing the buffer!)

Hi, the problem might be windows 7 (and maybe 64 bit) and it's protection of creating data.

The are two things you can try:
    1) Start the program as an administrator (right mouse click on the shortcut and choose 'open as administrator' (or something like that)
    2) You can disable all this protective nonsense by going into your user account management and disable it all. I'm not sure where it is (but as I did disable this, it worked for me :)), but in your settings of windows you'll have an option (slider) to change how secure windows must react when installing new software, that must be switched off.

On or both of these options should help..

    Thanks

Thanks! I'll give it a shot for my Friday gig and report back. Given that most new pc laptops are 64bit win7 now, this is important information.

    Hi there.

I'm also new to this program and denon dn-hc4500... I have the exact same problem and would like to know if the above solution helped.
I have Windows XP on my laptop though...and I have admin rights on it, so that shouldnt be the problem.
I think i've tried just about any setting (but the right one i guess).
Any good and specific ideas? Im not much of a pc nerd so please have patience...
