Sometimes I use Maschine without the hardware (shock horror!), but there is no way to 'Double' a pattern. Increasing the pattern length then copy - pasting note data does not copy automation data.

A production habit I have fallen into is to have automation in a 4 bar pattern and then doubling it, and modifying / adding to the automation, this can create a nice organic yet rhythmic tonal shift in the automation. But I can't do it without the hardware, so would be nice if I could ;)

Let me know if anyone found a workaround to this.

    Cheeers!

Select all the midi and press CMD+D (Control+D on windows, I think); it takes GRID into consideration but it wont duplicate the modulation :S

Thanks, pressing double on the hardware is literally the only way you can copy automation data, kinda annoying..
