Doubts about KK12 Select

Hi, I was looking at the bundles of komplete kontrol and I noticed that the komplete kontrol 12 select doesn't have to option of updating from a previous version.

That's because its a new bundle and never existed a Komplete Kontrol 11 select?

My main concern is that I really want to buy it in the future, but I would like to know if when komplete kontrol 13 is released, I would be able to update it, until eventually I have enough to buy the upgrade to the full version.

There was komplete 11 select and as you already have found out there is only an upgrade for maschine, a series...... users. Really strange that there is no option from 11 select to 12 select, only to komplete 12 but if you own this you can stay on that version and just go the numbers up. Or you have a qualifying product and always pay 99 bugs.

I have the M32 keyboard, sadly it doesn't come with KK12 select, and money is really tight due to the value of my country currency, but I guess that if I can't be sure about the future update to kk13 select, I should just skip it and wait until I can buy the full version or the release of kk13

How long last each version of komplete kontrol? Is there any speculation o release date to komplete kontrol 13?

Hey guys,
There is indeed no update path for our Select bundles. We decided to keep things simple and are only offering an upgrade if you own one of the hardware bundled with the collection (rather than Komplete 12 Select).
It's also fair to say that there is actually not a huge difference between K11S and K12S and so creating an update path just for that will complicate our structure even further.

 

I would not wait, if you want to upgrade later anyway to full version the price is the same if you have 11 or 12 select as base product. But you can't use all those great stuff for sure if you wait. Just my opinion.
