Ok ive read the manual 2 times over. Im on a PC. There is NO information in my pdf file about this apparent drag and drop audio to host daw. Thats all i want to do and ive been searching these forums and seen some similar questions but all anyone says is read the manual. Well like i said theres no info on this in the apparent updated pdf. so i need to know how to do it. This is both holding me back and making me angry at the same time any help would be appreciated

    thanks

There is a PDF addendum, as a separate file. Also, not to be questioning you, but are you runningthe 1.1 beta?

do a search for Maschine Manual Addendum English.pdf on your computer. this should have been part of the 1.1 Public Beta Install. on my Mac, it is in the same folder as the other documentation.

to clarify, it is a separate manual. the other manuals do not contain it.

i appreciate the help. i found the function purely by accident (works great btw) for some reason i didnt get that file. Perhaps chalk it up to vista ?

No I didn't get the addendum either when I updated to the Beta. You are not the only one. I looked in the Maschine folder, spotlight searched (Mac) and did a system search. Nothin'. But the drag and drop audio feature was pretty damn obvious. The 4 way arrow icon was similar to the envelope drag button in Massive so I figured that was it.

"1. Select the Group you want to export audio from.

    2. Select the Sounds you want to exclude from the exported audio file by clicking their Mute button. Alternatively, export single Sounds by clicking their Solo button.

    3. Click and hold the Dragger symbol in the Header Area of the Pattern Editor. A pop-up window will inform you about the rendering status.

→You can now drag the exported audio to your desktop or into an audio channel of your host application."

    That's all there is ;)

So on Mac OSX Mascine creates the dragged audio into ~/Documents. I just realize I have a pileup of untagged audio in my Documents folder. How do I switch the folder it dumps these in? I can't find it anywhere.....

i am using the audio export feature with maschine as a plugin in ableton live. The project tempo is 160. Maschine's drag and drop feature exports a 140 bpm loop instead of the correct 160. It plays at 160, why won't it export at 160?

fix: oh, ableton is warping it incorrecty. Not maschine's fault!

I'm having the same issues drag and dropping audio into Live 8. Weird tempo and maybe a bar worth of silence.

When you drag n drop into Live, click on the clip n turn Warp off then trim the clip.
