Exactly like i use to do every beats on my Guru, i want to build a pattern in Maschine, then once i'm happy with it (and all my needed elements are there) I want to be able to drag and drop that pattern on the main Maschine channel in my DAW and to trigger my beat from that MIDI clip. This would render my Maschine usable to arrange my tracks indeed, cause now beats are funky and phat but don't know how to arrange a thing honestly...

    arrange your patterns in scenes.

use program change in Live to change the scenes.

    Sowari,

Thanks, i'll try these P.C. but honestly i don't like that.

On top of that, if 200 euros software is perfectly able to do that i guess that a 600+ one should definitely do it straight from it's day one on the market...

I need that, i know i'm certainly not the only one.

    Cheers,
    8b.

no, your not the only one. this functionally is crucial to having true integration with a host DAW.

when it comes time to layout your full song arrangement and be able to effictively edit your patterns along with other MIDI sequences within your DAW, using the sequencer and scenes in Maschine is NOT an efficient method, because it requires having to go back and forth from the DAW arrangement window to the Maschine window. this makes it difficult to quickly see how your drum patterns are arranged in comparison to the rest of your arrangement. And for those musicians who spend most of their time editing within the DAW, it's simply not useable.

you should be able to simply grab the tab of a pattern and drag it to a MIDI track in the daw and have it create the MIDI part for you.

Thanks, i feel a little less alone now =) anyway honestly my Maschine is now sleeping aside, i can't use this to do my tunes, i did one with it and finished by rendering every little hits to audio to make my arrangement, but i ain't gonna do this for every track... Anyway, i'm back at what works for me..

This is crucial. Maschine seems like running two instances of ableton at the moment.

I have to agree. I love Maschine in standalone mode, but sometimes I feel like I am being slowed down while using it in Ableton.

My drum machine for years was the wicked combo of Battery and Live because of how quickly I could copy and paste midi clips, edit it for a fill or variation, and build the song.

I can do this so quickly in Maschine, but when it comes time for putting it in Live, I feel like I'm doing it twice. I can't wait to be able to drag it right in.

+1 on this. The whole arrangement process in maschine is poor. It would be better if you could record your jams on the mute / solo buttons as well as change the length of scenes, name scenes and be able to move them around. Midi drag & drop would be good too if you're in a DAW.

I would like to see drag and drop implemented both ways, so sequences could also be pulled back into Maschine.

This is one of the things preventing me from purchasing Maschine...

I agree here 100%. Being able to record your MUTE/SOLO actions into your DAW is essential, as are naming scenes/patterns and MIDI drag & drop in Ableton.

    +200,000!

I cant handle two projects for drum arrangement and daw arrangement.
Hope this is top of the update agenda!

Should we consider ourselves beta testers?

Yep +1 I just started doing research on leaving Guru/PK for Maschine and this is one of the things holding me back so far.

My biggest complaint of my Maschine. I love it, but in a certain view it's now complete plugin/machine.
It's like half-made, I hope it is gonna be completed soon (1.1)
