I've not used Battery for a while and was just getting excited about starting a new project... only problem is drag & drop on the AU version seems to only work when you first load up the plugin:

    - open instance of Battery in Logic
    - drag samples from Finder into cells, all ok
    - select different channel/instrument in Logic
    - reselect Battery instance, plugin window pops up again
    - drag and drop no longer works!

Is anyone getting this to work successfully?

    Many thanks
    Hazza

    Logic 8.0.1, Battery 3.0.4, OS 10.5.2

you might try selecting all the cells (except one;so that you can use it to deselect all) and setting the ADSR to ON.

I do this with an empty Battery and set the ADSR to what I want for this project. i.e. A=0, H=0, D=0, S=100%, R=1 sec

Now drag and drop seems to work.

Whoops...sorry about that. I thought I had it nailed because I use Logic also and know of this bug. I thought I had it beat but realize that it is a quirk of the infamous (I hope NI knows its infamous)

    Logic/NI GUI bug

When first instantiating BAttery, drag and drop works. But after a little while the Logic/NI GUI bug takes over and the NI product (Battery in this case) cannot see certain actions.

Build your BAttery instruments in stand alone!

This bug won't allow a "1" to be typed into an NI text field while instantiated in Logic. (becomes a drag when you want to type "43011" as a BAttery loop point.)

I've noticed this in Kontakt 3 and BAttery.

Oh yes, that one. It really infuriates me. In general, the way Logic 8.0.2 and the battery gui operate together is pretty poor and most annoying. Not much help sorry, just wanted to add my frustrations here about that.
