    Ok, here is my situation.

I have Drum Kit From Hell 2.
    I have Digital Performer 5.
    The guitars will be mic-ed.
    The Bass will be DI.

Does anyone have suggestions for EQing the drums with Drum Kit From Hell?

Should I EQ the drums prior to programing?
Should I EQ the drums after programing?

please don't respond if all you have to say is something like:

"digital performer 5 sucks! why did you pick that?"
    or
"drum kit from hell sucks! why did you pick that?"

    etc.

I am just looking for advice for the situation that I am in (see above)

I am only looking for advice reguarding Drum Kit From Hell 2 coupled with mic-ed guitars with DI Bass.

    Thank You.

The premise of your question is faulty. There is no such thing as an EQ that works best for a style of music, except for special effects (like a telephone EQ). No one can answer how to EQ a mix without hearing it, because there are billions of EQ combinations out there, and everything is a matter of taste. Some like it boomy, some like it thin, some like it in the middle. Furthermore, no one knows what your guitars or your bass will sound like -- what model guitars, what amps, what mics.

You're basically asking us to tell you how much salt to add to a recipe that we can't taste.
