Drum Kits in Bandstand - they have ALL of the percussion samples too right?

Hi there...

another last question before I take the plunge and buy bandstand!

The drum kits in Bandstand are obviously all GM compatible what with this being a GM sound module....

BUT! do they have ALL of the percussion samples right across the keyboard... so if i read in a midi track and its got lots of shakers , tanobourines etc, claps, I will get these coming out from my Bandstand drum track immediately with no re-routing of notes or anything required yes?

just wanna be sure that a) the perc samples are all there and b) they are placed appropriately cos one of the reasons im buying this is so that it will be FAST FAST FAST!

You again?

If your file sticks to true GM drum patches, no problem. If it uses non-GM instruments, you may have to play around with the file.

One thing I like about BS is that it plays most files just the way they are supposed to sound, especially commercial MIDI files (from Midi Hits, Tran Trax, etc.).

Now, just go buy it, will ya? Tell us how you like it.

i'm sure i'll be in touch with the inevitable first few questions once i get going..

yes its for use with standard midi files taken or bought from the net etc s the GM drums apply mostly here...
