Looks like no more Maschine for me. I dropped my Maschine controller and damaged the USB port, so I sent it out to get it repaired. I get the unit back and the USB works, but now the drum pads no longer work. Every other button works and I went through the Controller Editor to see which button respond and whatnot, and the 16 drum pads do not. Anything more I can do?

So I flipped over the sensor and still no response. Will the corx work or could it be the sensor itself is damaged? Everything else works just fine

No you don't need corx. You would need to contact NI about doing a repair or purchasing a new controller. I would suggest you first contact the repair shop you sent it to.

@bilposy, So far you have been allowed to promote those corx but please keep that on the already running thread.

I contacted the guy, Will North of repairmydcjack.com, and he claims he can do no more. According to him, he simply replaced the USB port, so I don't know if he did something, or if maybe the Maschine got damaged in the transit process or when I first dropped it.

it's most definitely something up with the drum pad sensors. obviously I wouldn't be able to flip over the sensor if I didn't open up the Maschine with a screwdriver. The thing is when I go to the controller editor, if I literally start punching the drum pads, the pads respond but to multiple ones (i.e. - mashing drum pad 1 will trigger drum pad 4, then 5). Something is wrong with the sensor itself, every other button is ok

Turning the sensors over wont work. The carbon side (see our youtube vids) of them reacts with the board so they need to be that way. Its possible when you dropped it that they just cam out of their slot and aren't making contact, which does seem like a far stretch.

Have you had any luck yet?

I've had removed the drum pad sensor, flipped it over, flipped it back over to its original position and no luck. I just think the sensor is damaged itself.

Email me. I may be able to help. If you sent it in to us I could likely get it going. But first I would try to talk to Native about it.
