Drumaxx + Kore2 - Failure

Kore2 won't recognize Image-Line Drumaxx plugin. The Drumaxx plugin is found by Reaper though, so I don't think it's the plugin with the problem. I can see Kore2 scanning the plugin DLL, but it doesn't pick it up because when I right-click to add a new instrument the Drumaxx instrument does not show in the list. How can I get Kore2 to recognize Drumaxx?

So why would Kore not be recognizing it for me? How can I fix it so it works? I've already tried running Options->Plugins->Rescan. And I tried moving the plugin to a different subfolder within my VST folder. Is there something else to try?

 

The only idea I have would be a 32<>64bit inconsistency.

 

It's a 32-bit VST and I'm running the 32-bit version of Kore2, so it shouldn't be a problem.

To further explain the oddness of this whole thing, a year or so ago I was able to load Drumaxx in Kore2, until my Kore2 database got wiped out and had to be reloaded. Since then Drumaxx won't load as a VST. But, if I open one of my older Kore2 projects made back when I had Drumaxx working in Kore, the Drumaxx instrument still shows up in the instrument slot! I can open the Drumaxx interface from that slot, play sounds with it, everything! But no matter what I try I can't get the plugin to show in the dropdown list of available plugins.

 

That suggests Kore is scanning it but it is not appearing in the main menu - which is usually due to an earlier version of the cache ksd being present. So go to your Kore database cache folder and delete any existing Drumaxx ksd, then rescan the plugins and see if it shows after that
