    Hello,

I would like to know if someone has found a solution to install Drummic'a from Sennheiser using Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 ?

I love this drum and almost all of my Propellerhead Reason Projects are using it and I can't install the Drummic'a program anymore ?

I Bought the last MacBook Pro 16 (Sept 2019) because my old one crashed and I can't even downgrade to Mojave with this MacBook.

Already I was quiet upset having to buy multiple adaptors to make my music gears working on this new MacBook but now I'm starting to hate apple because it seems I'll have to redo all my drums with another software...

unless you have a solution for me or an update coming soon by NI for that problem...

    Thanks for your replies

Is this a problem with the Library installer? Or is it an issue with activating it through NA? You never clearly state what the actual issue is.

it is only an installation problem, it fails every time and I already entered the product key in native access before, or maybe I'll have to re paste that License again because of my computer change ? drummic'a indeed show in native access

this is the file "DrumMicA Installer Mac.mpkg" that ends failing every time

to be more precise I have attached some screenshot

In native access Drummic'a is shown as "Not installed" (Cf screenshot 1)

Just before the installation process fail I have this screen (Cf 2)
it's in French and it says "installation program wishes to access files from your download folder", and either I press "ok" or "don't authorize" it's failing.

The last screenshot is the actual failing process installation message (cf3)

Hope you can diagnostic the problem now

Well I don’t know Mac, so I can’t help with this, but it appears sennheiser may need to address this issue, or you would need figure out why it is preventing the installer from accessing the Downloads folder and how to allow access...

I'm having the same problem, I just e-mailed Sennheiser. I don't think is a native instrument issue, it is more about Catalina OS and Sennheiser software, but their help will definitely help.

I did send an email yesterday too, waiting for Sennheiser reply and crossing my finger for a solution...
But please anyone feel free to send a email to them because the more we are stating that problem, the sooner they'll find solution.. I don't want to be pessimist but Mac OS Catalina was released for several month now...

anyway here is the link to contact Sennheiser : https://fr-fr.sennheiser.com/service-support-contact

Tomorrow is a public holiday in Germany: Ascension Day aka Father's Day!
Many companies have the following day off: Bridge day!

let's hope they fix it. I don't want to be pessimist ether but you know, it is a free library/(plug-in), I don't know if they gonna put effort or Money in it. we can just hope.

This is a lively advertisement for microphones from Sennheiser and Neumann.

I was having the same issue and I just found a solution for this. Hopefully it will work for you too.

    1. Add the serial for Drummic'a in Native Access if you haven't yet.
    2. Find Drummic'a in Access.
    3. There should be a button next to it saying Locate, or something similar. Press it.
    4. Locate the unpacked Drummic'a folder where the DrumMic'a!.nicnt file is located, select it, and continue. Access will take care of the rest. It should be in Kontakt now as a library.

BTW you can't download it properly right now, as the current version on Sennheiser's website is missing the .nicnt file and the 4GBs of Samples folder. If you don't have it yet, I shared my Drummic'a folder so you can download it:

I have registered at Sennheiser today (Oct 9th, 2020) and downloaded the Zip with the same error described by Vamzen.
So I downloaded the missing file/folder Vamzan posted (THANKS VAMZEN!!!!)
Now my only issue is... I have no serial number. I do not see anywhere in my "Profile" page.
Nor did I receive any email from Sennheiser with a serial.
Any ideas? Where did others get theirs from?

Please note the product has "new" install process but I don't see it documented AND there is a statement about the NI serial manager no longer being integrated. See here:
