Dual Monitor Support

people are going to want this more over time. Ive seen this posted only once before a really long time ago and I think its about time we bring this back into the discussion.

fwiw, I think it would be a good idea for you to expand on what you want on a second display.. I already use a second display for VST windows

 

If you take a plugin with a resizable GUI and move it to another screen, there are errors for me every time. I just have to open and close it not a big deal. But the plugins window just goes blank when it crosses over.

Maybe option in preferences to not let plugins open on the other screen or to have plugins open on the other screen by default.

I don't know exactly how native instruments should go about detaching things but a detachable mixer, browser or sequencer might be kinda useful. As long as it's easy to return everything to default. That among other forms of dual monitor support that are already out there

 

I know I'm late to the thread but I cannot imagine what would be the added value here, also considering that Maschine was designed to be used from behind the controller, not necessarily your PC. So... I don't get it. I'd rather see NI spent their time & effort on other stuff.

 

i think that must have something to do with your system, well, its certainly worth checking ... at my max i have ran up to three screens and never once had this issue at all...perhaps a gutsy video card is the answer?..dunno, but its not anything to do with Maschine.

 

Honestly id rather buy another expansion pack than a gutsy video card. Im sure that's much more safe of a purchase. Thats cool though you'll have to tell me how you use maschine on three screens at once some time.

Maschine software has been available for $200 no controller included. Detachable windows exist for a reason. If everyones end goal is finishing music in maschine I don't see what the issue is. I figured it was a feature worth suggesting. My bad I guess. If you don't see the value on this suggestion then just don't respond lol.

 

And non detachable windows also exist for reason.
