i haven't posted any of my recent dubstep up on line anywhere.

but to make a wobble bass in maschine is easy.

there is a good example in your bass folder - think its actually called wobble. - that will show you exactly how to do it but in simple terms:

have a bassline where the bass notes have some decent length.

go to the control section - insert a filter on your bassline - set the lfo to sync - choose what type of lfo to use (sine is pretty standard) - go to the right screen, set the filter cutoff modulation level to anythiong from 50% upwards depending on your bass sound and voila. then all that sleft is to adjust the speed of the lfo, the amount it modulates the filter and the sound---

if you want good synth waves to do this with, use the section in maschine instruments that is pure synth waves - modulating these at a low pitch gives great results

if you have too much trouble, post a small project file up here or PM me and i will return it to you with a decent example.

    do you have reaktor?

if so go to the Reaktor forum and search wobble bass - there is a thread that has a link for some unreal reaktor synths that make absolutely SICK wobble bass - they are reaktor files so they are free to DL from the site also.

i am puzzled, because you have asked this question before and people - including THE WIDOWMAKER have replied before.

    here is a Youtube video:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eKnp93ESeg"]YouTube - ‪Wobble with NI Maschine‬‏[/ame]

imho, you should use NI's Massive, or any Software 'Synth' that can have a Synced LFO routed to a Filter.

THE WIDOWMAKER, is also correct about Reaktor.

it was fine that you did repeat yourself ;) maybe the reason that Simzilla asked the same question was because i closed the older thread.

any synth that can modulate its filter will make what you are after mate.

try to stack the basses that you use and/or change oscillators while modulating the filter, this will keep the sound varying along the wobble and between patterns - dont forget that the lfo speed variation is key to success to this sound.

check out the maschine example anyway - that will give you a good idea, copy athat and experiment -

another good thing for wobble is to sync the phase modulation to the beat too ;) I love doing that with just a bit of lfo mod.... makes you fall outta your chair.

Maschine project files under the 'Break' Section have a few dubstep tracks, just check out the settings, or save the settings and tweak the sound? best way i can think of.
thats without buying Massive(which is worth it) =D
    ---
and after you get a wobble going, remember to resample ;)

    no worries...

please be specific about what you don't get ;) for us to help you we need to know exactly which bits you start to get a bit lost.

btw, do you own any software Synth plugins that could be used in Maschine?

hi, you get Reaktor with patch 1.6. otherwise, wobble is real easy to do with a random "Bass" (but you didn`t need a bass, any instrument sample can be a SAW ;)), use LP cut with a resonance, LFO cut, pitch, speed and drive. at page 4 you have pitch cut and drive too, use it to other way (example page 4: pitch -20, cut -50, drive +50 -> LFO page: pitch +20, cut +50, drive +100

Reaktor is a Native Instruments product.... there is more info about it in the NI Product pages ;)

Reaktor is a great bit of software btw.

NI, also make the Massive Synth, which is used by quite a few Dubstep artists

but you haven't answered my question about whether you have a Synth plugin?

i do recive Komplete with patch 1.6, within there was GuitarRig4, Reaktor and Kontakt you can use Reaktor/Kontakt as Plugin for Maschine. Maybe i am a bit wrong, but i recived a email at same time with 1.6email, with an activation Key and DL Link for these components.

and agree sowari, if you have any software Synth wich can be used as VST PlugIn it should be no problem.

good point... but you are talking about Komplete Elements i think?

having said that, Carbon2 comes with Komplete Elements, and you should be able to get a good wobble out of that Synth!

imho, if you are serious about making Dubstep, you need a Synth Plugin. i would advise you to start of with the Freeware TAL Synths:

    http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products

Start with something simple like BassLine and try to understand how it works. try modulating the Filter with the LFO.

to be honest, if you don't understand how an Analogue Synth works, you won't understand the concept behind the Wobble bass sound.
