Guys I know this is a really stupid question, but I just cannot get my head around these tsi files things. I have an Xponent and I tried both Traktor 3 and now Traktor Pro and I have never been able to get it to work at all..

Can someone point me in the direction of a step by step guide of how to load a tsi file and what to do to get my Xponent to work?
    Thanks

Thanks Lancelot, I appreciate your reply.

However I'm getting lost in the first new steps:

For numbers 2 and 3 there is nothing like this that I can see - I cannot find anywhere that you can select the Xponent...

I am sorry guys I feel like an idiot, I am usually able to work these things out for myself, but Traktor is not user friendly for me. I have read the manual and it still does not explain it easily.

    Any ideas?

Ok I have it so that I can play tracks and hear them, routing though the Xponent, but I have to use the mouse - the Xponent controls don't do anything.

When in preference, is says "Import" and "Export" at the bottom. I use Import to add the .tsi file, but still nothing.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I am sure you have not activated the Xponent in your MIDI preferences.
    See attached picture.

Thanks Lancellor, I really appreciate your help here.

I am in work now so I will have to check this when I get home, but I am pretty sure that there is no Xponent in this list. The only thing in there is my sound card which says "SB Audigy 2 ZX Midi IO".

What would this mean, it is not seeing my Xponent properly, so what should I do?
    Thanks!

Hey, the mods and thongs opinion here is to "read the manual", "make an effort", "feed a fish, one can eat for a day, teach one to fish, he can feed himself for his life"

I do not share this view.
I`d rather feed the fish and help whenever I can.

I presume you installed the Xponent drivers?
Does Torq start without giving you an error message?

Thanks man I appreciate your help. I have read the manual but still I cannot get it to work.

    Here are my settings:

    Output Routing.JPG
    AudioSetup.JPG

What I do is go into preferences, and at the bottom left I click import. I select the .tsi file and click ok. I though this should sort everything out for me, but none of the sliders or buttons etc respond at all.

Yes the Xponent drivers are working fine as I can mix with Torq no problem.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks again for your help

Please check the screenshot I posted above.

You need to make sure that the Xponent is selected in the MIDI setup.

use the emulated and you dont need to use the exteral unless you are running something through the midi ports on the xponent and it should resolve the issue
