I recently installed Kore 2 and Komplete and I noticed that in the Kore browser some of the Kore sounds are listed twice. By right-clicking on each of the sounds and selecting "Open Containing Folder" I found that they are in two different directories. For example "3Osc Filter Sweep" is found in:

    /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content/Sounds/FM8/FM7 Factory/

    /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content/Sounds/FM7/

Another example is "090 Snare" is found in:

    /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content/Sounds/Absynth 3/

    /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content/Sounds/Absynth 4/Absynth 3 Factory/

Is it safe to just combine the contents of these folders (e.g., "FM7 Factory" -> "FM7") and delete one (e.g. "FM7 Factory")?

    Thanks.

Just delete the freestanding folders (Absynth3 and FM7). Then, do a full scan from the database page in your options menu. Done.
