duplicate track and plays on the same..

I cannot find this preference, but thought there was one somewhere for when I duplicate a track, the destination deck plays exactly like the original is. As of now it just copies but not plays or in same position.

Worked in 1.1.1 but now in 1.1.2 not..?

Syne, did you set load-points in your tracks? If so, then the tracks won't play when duplicated.

Yes, I have load points on all tracks..It copies to the right place, but does not play..
I tried a track without a load marker and no difference. I am stumped?
This I really liked for juggling.

Worked fine in 1.1.1, now must be a setting here or a bug.

Can anyone get this to work ok on 1.1.2 Mac or is it just me?

I even unchecked them all, in this version it simply does not work for me anymore, however ,in 1.1.1 , it works fine. I simply do not know and want to find out if it is just me or a bug in 1.1.2.

 

can you post a screenshot of the deck with the loaded track?

yes..here is one example. I hit copy deck and it loads to DECK B but does not play..just stops. Here are also my load settings..
Any ideas?

 

Weird thing is it randomly works? I tried it last night and it worked, then tried again and it did not.

 

Hello. I have tested to duplicate tracks on TS Pro 1.1.2 whit one turntable only whit no problems (i have only made some mixes, about 45 minutes on a Windows machine, and tested only one time). I have 2 tuntables and im using a 2 channels mixer and im thinking to get a 3 or 4 channels mixer, if so im gonna use the duplicate tracks a lot for sure, the question its that i only have one pair of multicore cables, do i need to get another pair of Multicore cables or RCA cables are capable to do the job like the Multicore cables whit no losses of quality sound, in case of the RCA cables work what is more recommended, the Multicore cables?

I'm having the same problem. It worked fine until recently when I upgraded to Traktor 1.1.2. Basically if I drag a playing deck from A -> B, it works, however they are NOT synced/duplicated. The correct track is playing in B but its not a "carbon copy" of A meaning its not matching the tempo/location.

Also, I used to have a hotkey specified to do this like Serato, once I upgraded to 1.1.2 these key mappings were gone as well.

take it out off 2d browse to see the rest of screen and varify you dont have cruise button enabled

Hi all!
Any news on this?. I also have the same problem when duplicating a playing deck: "DUPLICATE BUT NOT PLAY". As dj_rerun said, it needed to be a "carbon copy" playing from at same point of the first track, like Traktor 3 do when duplicating deck.

Note: I use Traktor PRO ver. 1.1.2.004 on a MacBook Pro

If any of you can help on this I would preciate it a lot.
